Youthful St. Mary’s looks to rebound in 2017

Saints will build behind leaders at key positions; Team Preview
St. Mary’s will be taking the field with a young squad this season, as seven seniors, 26 juniors, 6 sophomores and 1 freshman with take the field for the Saints.

Attack Ian Krampf is expected to lead the offense. He is a physically strong and talented and will control the flow of the St. Mary’s offense.

At the Midfield position, the Saints are expecting Alex Ulrich to contend with opponents at the face-off X and King Ripley, Garret Nilsen and Lachlan Hertel to run the field.

On the defense of side the ball Aleric Fyock will man the goal heading into the season. John Marquez, BJ Burlace and Michel Baldecchi will lead the defense in front of him.

“This team has put the work in the off season to bounce back from last spring,” said second-year head coach Victor Lilly. “I look to contend with other teams on the field.”
