Bulls welcome back 10 starters from Baltimore County championship squad; Team Preview
After suffering a heart-breaking one goal loss to C. Milton Wright in last year’s 3A/2A North Region final, the Hereford girls lacrosse team hopes to make another run at a state title in 2017.

The Bulls, which edged Dulaney for the Baltimore County championship last spring, have been on the cusp of a 3A/2A state title breakthrough for three years, reaching the state semifinals in both 2015 and 2016.

Coach Anne Ensor, who is in her 20th season with the Parkton school, has a career record of 225-86-1. Ensor should have plenty of experienced weapons with which to make a state title bid as she welcomes back 10 starters, with three on attack, three at midfield and four on defense.

Leading the charge will be a pair of All-Baltimore County selections, sophomore midfielder Isabella Peterson, the team’s leading scorer, and senior defender Dana Meehling.

Head Coach:
Anne Ensor (20th year, 225-86-1)

Players to Watch:
Dana Meehling, Sr., D (All-Baltimore County)
Isabella Peterson, So., MF (All-Baltimore County)
