Grizzlies break No. 13 Glenelg Country's streak

Fielder's 6 goals push No. 8 Garrison Forest to lacrosse victory

Samatha Fielder scored six goals and Navy recruit Lazarides finished with four goals and an assist as No. 8 Garrison Forest School defeated 13th-ranked Glenelg Country School in a battle of IAAM A lacrosse upstarts Thursday in Owings Mills.

It's the second straight victory for the Grizzlies (2-1 overall and IAAM A), who pushed No. 1 McDonogh School in their season opener. Sophomore Brooke Gottlieb added a goal and two assists Thursday for Garrison Forest.

Julia Sheehan had five goals for Glenelg Country (4-1, 2-1 IAAM A), which had its 36-game winning streak snap.back  Alyssa Arnold had two goals and three assists and Bobbie Haney and Olivia O'Leary each scored twice.
