No. 11 Cougars down Glen Burnie, 7-2, in AA County softball
Nursing a 3-2 lead entering the bottom of the fifth inning, Tuesday, Chesapeake-AA broke things open with a grand slam home run off the bat of Clara Fisher-Cook as they defeated Glen Burnie, 7-2, in Anne Arundel County softball action.

Haley Downin pitched a complete game four-hitter and Brionna Bowman went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for the Cougars.

Katie Gouty led Glen Burnie with a 2-for-2 performance, including a two-run double. Hannah Eslick was also 2-for-3 for the Gophers with a run scored.
