Bluebirds overcome a seven point halftime deficit to claim at 66-53 victory
Kenwood's boys basketball team played inspired basketball in the second half of Friday's battle with previously unbeaten Dulaney, pulling off a 66-53 Baltimore County 3A/4A upset before a packed gym at Kenwood.

The Bluebirds trailed by seven at the half, but Kenwood surprised the Lions with a 19-3 third quarter run to take a lead it would never give up.  Kenwood (13-3, 6-1) received outstanding performances from Levan Jones, who scored a game-high 17 points, Keith Moody, who netted 15 points, and Will Jenkins, who finished with 12 points.

"I told his team at the half that they had to play more inspired defense and the points would result off of it," said Kenwood coach Chris Kelly. "They executed the plan and allowed the Kenwood faithful to go home happy with one of the school's biggest wins in years."

Dulaney is now 16-1 overall and 6-1 in the league.  The two teams are tied for second place.
