Winebrenner and Krens combine for 42 points and 24 rebounds to lead Obezags
A hot St. John's Catholic Prep boys basketball team arrived in Annapolis, Friday night, riding a four game win streak and holding first place in the MIAA C Conference.  The defending league champions, however, received a rude greeting from host Key, which erupted for a 79-61 upset of the visiting Vikings.

St. John's (15-10, 12-3), which left the contest with its first place lead over Indian Creek reduced to just a half game, had no answers on Friday for Key's Chris Winebrenner and Jacob Kerns.  Both Obezags scored 21 points, with Winebrenner adding 13 rebounds and Krens grabbing 11.

In addition to those impressive double-doubles, Key (9-11, 7-6) received 17 points from John Thurber, while Brian Kelley contributed nine points and seven assists.

Oshea Gairey score 16 points to lead St. John's.  With the win Key, moved a half game in front of both Gerstell Academy in Park School in the C Conference.  The Obezags are now in fourth place.
